KMP - Generation 5 Electric Wormgear Actuator Kit (Retracts) - Available at MagnumRC.com

These actuators are designed to replace the air cylinders on KMP generation 5 retract mechanisms. They require disassembly of stock actuator and removal of air cylinder and T-Bar. The removal and modification of gear trunion by cutting a slot through the top of trunion is required. After completion of trunion modification the completed assembly will replicate hydraulic like movement of gear motion and increase lock-up and lock-down reliability. The special feature of electric upgrade is a spike sensing circuit that prevents battery drainage. These motors use less power than a common servo and can be y-harnessed into a flight receiver.
