Obama Wants to Cut $17B From Budget

President Barack Obama challenged Congress on Thursday to approve $17 billion in additional spending cuts in the coming budget year, a sum that amounts to less than one-half of one percent of the total federal budget. (May 7)

No on can blam this man because this is the Bushes cut "There are so many (cuts) and they are so large that it makes your jaw drop," said Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y. hm. 17 billion ? when we have debt in the trillions, 17 billion is hardly 'real money'. Rand Paul proposed 500billion cut.. that's closer to where we need to go. .. closer, but still have room to cut..

We need a lot more to get the debt under control. Our law makers won't do it because it would effect their lobbyist and special interest.

No! You misunderstood that one. I see that my wording wasn't strong enough now so it's my fault you misunderstood.

My point was that anytime Obama gets so much as a nickle back in tax dollars he will find a way to spend it on something else. When the bill actually comes do there won't be a democrat alive that still likes him.
