[Gyeonggi-do] National Museum of Contemporary art, KOREA

The National Museum of Contemporary Art was established to show the public the desirable direction into which Korean art and its culture should go forward, and make them more advanced. It is continuously pursuing an embracing the current and trends of both Korean and international contemporary art, as the only national museum of countrywide.

The Museum has been making he best efforts to not only hold rich and high-level exhibitions of showing the domestic and overseas currents of modern art but become a composite cultural space for their art appreciation and a variety of scholastic and cutural events. It is, thus, fuctioning as a place of new opportuinities for artists, and lifelong social education for citizens.
