@tanycha Robbing tombs was big business in the ancient world as it was in the 20th century, (assuming the black market stopped). Face it money is honey!

Lol, yea God blessed and I went. It was funny, I'm a lightskinned African American and when I was in Cairo and Luxor and wore my shades, everyone thought that I was Egyptian. I left Egypt about 9 months before the Riots and I can honestly say that walking throught the pyramids, the Karnak Temple, the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and mingling with the Egyptians was one of the most powerful experiences in my life.

Even though you will get sick from the food/bacteria, etc. being different. GO! You will never regret it! I was born in this lifetime a Roman, but I look Egyptian, people told me. I saw more people in MISR that could pass for my family than my family. You will not regret the trip, but make certain that it is safe!!!!!!

I havent seen any proof of Egyptian culture in west and sub-saharan africa. I would be happy too se it.
About the tomb-robbing; I believe arabs did that. Probably.

@pack1 It's not unfathomable that some of those migrating people were caught up in the slave trade and bought to the Americas and the Caribbean Island. I'm just saying....it's highy possible. Besides, I often wondered, why would a people rob their own tombs and sacred temples? Mmmmm.
Before I die, I have to set foot on the mother land, before I die I have to touch and walk threw the pyramids, as an African-American I will visit Africa and Egypt before I die
