Bret speaks the truth. He had an incredible 1995 and they swept him under the rug and gave him barely any promotion as champion.

Bret wrote about that in his book. I haven't read Shawn's in awhile, but I remember he wrote a lot of things along the same lines as Bret on how he wanted things to go (Bear with me I really haven't read it in a long time, it got destroyed). And Bret's right. He had great matches with everyone, where Shawn, at times only had great matches with his friends or guys that just suited his style. Take Vader at Summerslam 96. The timing is just off at times, that's only time, but just think about it.

@TheGhanjamon well I half agree with you. The titles are obviously scripted and a facade in a sense. But lemme ask you...would you rather play Rocky Balboa or that boxer he beats in the first 10 minutes of the movie? Even in a movie, playing someone that is a "champion" or better than others can make you more of a star. That's prbly what he's complaining about.

Bret seemed very calm and relaxed during this entire interview. HBK sounded nervous and unsure. Just seems like Bret is more believable.
