Man! Great Song! What's the band name ?

Hey, can I get .avi extension instead of .mp4???
-
dont forget =35 for the HD quality but in small screen
-
it IS much better! i recently realised that I get the HD option when I upload 1280 X. 'something' videos or larger..
-
how the hell do you get it to have the HD option anyway? i uploaded a 720x576 video but it doesn't give me an HD option on playback. i know that's not really HD, but it's a hell of a lot better than normal youtube videos. does it actually have to be an HD res like 1280x720 or 1920x1080?

I saw you put in info "HD 720p fmt 22" and then "HQ stereo fmt 18"...
Well, 720p have an ultra high HQ stereo too (AAC 240 kbps aprox.)...
Bye

You're right - HQ stands for the video quality. The YouTube HQ quality instead of the normal & HD quality. But that's a bit unclear - so I'll edit it.

Hey, I'm using videostudio but struggling to get good output settings - have you found a way to save 1280x720 AVC files? I can only seem to find 1440 and 1920 AVC files, or 720P WMV and MPG files that YouTube doesn't treat as HD... Did you get these output settings with ffmpeg?
Cheers!

Hi,
With Video Studio X2 Pro I save/export the vid. in MPEG2 90% One Pass 12000kbps 1440x1080 16:9 and then with ffmpeg I convert it to 5000kbps AVC/AAC 1280x720 (one pass)
Search Google for "Tripp's Unofficial FFmpeg Win32 Builds"

This is my FFmpeg command line:
ffmpeg.exe -i %1.mpg -y -f mp4 -b 5000k -s hd720 -aspect 16:9 -vcodec libx264 -vpre ".\ffpresets\libx264-HQ.ffpreset" -acodec libfaac -ab 256k %1.mp4

It took YouTube more than 10 hours to encode for the last 2 vids (+/- 5 min each) I've uploaded in 1280x720.
