Atheists Believe in Fairy Tales?

Are atheists just as guilty of belief in scientific fairy tales as are Christians who believe in a savior god and creationism?

@merkur32123 God didn't create the glorious universe for us. Everything he creates for himself including mankind. We are not his greatest creation. Anything you find in all of created reality is his greatest creation. God never creates anything that is not greatly created. That is why it is all supremely intelligently designed with such incredible complexity you cannot comprehend it. Who said the Universe was made for humans? The earth was made for humans. Its a harvest field.

Imagine that you're a God (You look like one, BTW), would you create this ginormous place filled with Gigantic Stars, Galaxies, Etc. just to make a extremly tiny blue ball of Dirt & Rock & Water & Iron, Etc. for your greatest creations? I know i wouldn't. Doesn't make sence to me. The universe is FAR from being inteligently designed for the life of Humans.

@BaneOfAzrael You have left yourself with the fairy tale of a self creating Universe which reduces down to ATHEISM IS A RELIGION. You have to have blind faith to believe the universe created itself. And with you as the higher power in it, you are now your own god. An impotent god at that. Some religion. You can have it. We don't want it.

Since the argument was that the universe needs a creator because of its complexity, a complex creator would need a creator as well. If say no to the second then we don’t have to accept the premiss that a complex universe needs a creator.
