Finaly a movie about WWII that isn't a " Heroic American " movie! Finaly the germans and the italians are not the " bad guys ".. They are being seen the same on, as with the americans.. verry good movie. A low budget movie, but quite good for being that.

@USMarineRifleman0311 The French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars lasted for over 20 years. For which Britain fought from the very beginning you fool. Britain was the only nation that never ceased to fight against Napoleon even after Austria, Russia and Prussia were knocked out of the war several times. Go somewhere were you have some remote knowledge of what you're talking about mate. Hoorah!

britain...this largest empire in history as you call it...needed help defeating Napoleon. It stood out of the over 1/2 of the fighting during the Napoleonic wars. It only joined after Boney screwed up in Russia.

Britain stood absolutely no chance to ever taking ground in continental Europe ....ever by itself. Not during the 1810s wars nor the 1940s. It needed allies each and everytime.

@HealeyIRA5 you forgot to mention former Kingdom of Yugoslavia ( mostly Serbia - occupied by germans, Macedonia occupied by bulgarians,italians and albanians ), Bosnia by germans and croats ( ustasha's )! Croatia was spared by the germans for having it's own Nazi state called Independent state of Croatia where was killed more than 700000 orthodox (Serbian and Gipsy people) people as well as jews minority!! In one word more than a milion victims during the ww2 in former Kingdom of Yugoslavia

@Kabul81 And everybody seems to think WW2 was america's big achievement and forget that britain, Who have had the biggest empire in the history of the human race surviving the romans, french and germans once already don't need america to "save the day" a they think they did.
