I was so proud too of her finishing second, and I was so shocked to see her down on the track after the race. What a tragic end for a beautiful and game filly.

Her turn of foot was probably the best I've ever seen. She was impressive.

Gosh, in the last few years we have had increible fillies and mares...Rags to Riches, Eight Belles, Zenyatta, and now Rachel Alexandra. We are so lucky

She can race with Ruffian now. The two of them were amazing fillies that needed to go waaay too early.

Agreed. What a beauty she was. So sad she met such a tragic fate. I'm extremely proud of how she finished in the Derby. RIP, sweet girl.
