Karate kicks are to the point and very simple, Taekwondo kicks that are strickly from Taekwondo are VERY amazing and epic looking, but usually don't work very well agenst someone who is alowed to punch you, or someone who actually has some kind of guard up with their hands... It comes down to WHO is throwing the kick, which kick, and for what perpose. None is better... Just better individuals =D
@GuamKomudo I do see how many of the techniques from other martial arts styles can be more useful than kicking the majority of the time and in close combat but you are kidding yourself if you think Karate kicks are more useful than Taekwondo kicks. They are quicker, more versatile, and devastatingly more powerful than karate kicks. Sure they are more difficult to learn but it is worth it.
This is true, but not true. I have done Karate since I was 8 years old and that is my primary weapon in MMA. I also train in Jujitsu and Kickboxing. Your way of thinking is not the original way. REAL martial artists in history learned them to kill others. Samurai, Vikings, Romans soldiers, Hwarang, these martial artists in history practiced many of the same moves we do today, but in a more violent way. But once we needed no warriors in society, MA changed from making killers, to better people
@GuamKomudo martial arts is for self defence and peace, and learn how to control yourself, so bassicly it teaches you not to fight on the street, but fight yourself, and find your peace, and its good for your health either, sooo mma for example, thats not martial arts, thats... figh art(thats how i call it)
did the movie ever come out? if it did, whats the name?
