A different kind of 3/4 dance from the Brazilian master Villa-Lobos. This one winds it's way slowly to an energetic middle section.

This piece has urgency built in, but the extra speed doesn't necessarily impede that, it's interesting.

Thanks for the observation! From some of the comments I see about 'speed', it seems people think musicality is generated by a particular tempo.

Thanks Tom. I think some folks get 'stuck' on a particular version which they like. The piece is a waltz after all, and waltzes are famously flexible of tempo.

parece afanado, sin calma, con prisa, no muy musical, pero igual tiene buen tecnica, solo q la musica no es solo tecnica!

@tomgamble100 Yes it does. However, i think that you have to speed it up only at the end of the first part. In the reprise, you should go back to the original tempo i think..

I remember learning this at school - I still play it now and then but I can't play it all anymore just the first 30 secs or so :( Stupid fingers.
