I love the death growls near the beginning, it feels so fitting, even for a Iced Earth song.

ΓΑΜΑΑΑ!!! ΧΩΣΕΕΕΕΕΕΕΕΕΕ!!!

The only thing I miss from the Burnt Offerings version are the solos. I got used to the dissonant, evil sounding leads, and even though these solos are faster, shreddier and more polished sounding, they just aren't quite as fitting for me.
On the plus side, Stu Block!!! DAMN!!! Finally, a singer that doesn't make me miss Matt Barlow. Sorry Ripper, but although you are awesome, you do not sound like you belong in Iced Earth.

This song embodies everything that is metal

@Roadycore man, I saw them in Quebec City yesterday. I loved Stu the first time I saw him with Into Eternity, but GOD he kicks asses with Iced Earth. I was ready to pay 30 bucks simply to hear that song live, I'm terribly satisfied, it was amazing. He definitely is a great successor to Matt!

I only found out about Stu Block being the Iced Earth singer and hearing about this remake. oh my fucking god. I fell back in love with Iced Earth.

Thankyou.

I like it, but the drums are too far forward in the mix.
seeing Stu Block perform this live 2 nights ago won me over... out with old, all hail the new... goobye Matt thank you for many years of mesmerizing vocals... but thumbs up to Stu, well done dude.

This makes me want to play Dante's Inferno again, but with Iced Earth playing loudly. Great video.
