FileZilla (FTP Tutorial)

I have never done this before. Figured FTP=headaches but really you were so helpful! thank you so much!!!

My brother has this website and I'm planning to be the one to update it. When we go to the website to edit the lists of books, we type a username and a password. Is that the same USERNAME and PASSWORD we are going to type in the Filezilla client?.. plz reply really need help!......

but on the sites i found they just said whot ftp is and what u can do with it....

Contact your web host.  Your FTP info is probably incorrect. Did you set up an FTP account with your host?

why do you need to set up an account with the host? cant u just download anonymously? and for some reason my FTP is slow as hell. :S i use filezilla btw
