This was one of the most memorable days of our lives...the day we met our twins. We went to Ethiopia for our court date, and decided to stay until our embassy date. We expected to stay only 4-6 weeks. But, because of government and paperwork delays, we ended up staying there for 3 months. There were many trials and struggles, but all of that pales in comparison to the beautiful gift we were given in our little boy and girl. We finally arrived back into Kentucky on April 12, 2011.

  • i know from having a niece & nephews who are half-white, half-black that babies tend to get darker with age, but is it possible in ethiopia that they could be mixed? i've just never seen such light babies from there! not that it matters, i was just curious.

they are gorgeous, the Lord sure has blessed you - i will keep all 4 of you in my prayers, as well as their birth parents. i love your videos! the kiddos will be grateful to have them as they get older i'm sure!

  • Hi, i'm from Djibouti, near ethopia.Sincerely: you are the best parents in the world with so much love

you are awesome parents, what you do and the great future that offers these twins: it is simply Good

Your kids have a great chance to grow up in a society as multicultural as the United States instead of Europe.

With your love and education, they can become anything: astronaut, doctor or of course...... president of the United States:)

Keep it up, you are the best.

    Bonne chance:)
