Jimi Hendrix' Flying V as used at the Isle of Wight Festival and Rainbow Bridge. One of the most valuable guitars in the world! Many thanks to the Hard Rock Vault in London for the Experience!
The bench I am sitting on, along with the cushions, are from Jimi's flat in Brook Street, London.

  • This might be the actual guitar Jimi used at San Diego Sports Arena for the live recording of Red House on the lp "In The West".

  • @jarvisl8 No. He just had 3 Flying V's over the years, one sunburst one, the one he painted with that psychedelic pattern and this one. BTW: This one is the only custom made guitar Hendrix ever owned. It's also the only lefty guitar he used on tour and for recordings. So it's a very unique guitar and I'm jealous of this guy he was able to touch it.

  • What I'd give to hold that guitar!!!

  • @Kingddd333 It sucks

  • @164jord That's terrible! Stupid thing for that kid to do too.

  • I went to London's Hard Rock Cafe, where this was filmed and the guitar is no longer "Touchable" and remains in a glass case because a child ran out of the vault with it into the actual cafe across the road to show his friends that he is holding the Hendrix guitar... I could not have a photo with it and was a little dissapointed...

  • OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! I would die! and holy shit I sound like a groupie teenage girl!!!

  • PUT IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!

  • theres actually quite a story to that guitar it was lost for a while and picked up in england from a second hand store the the original paint was taken off but repainted exactly to the original paint job jimi had done himself

  • Jimi's V was a right hand with a white truss nut cover. He also played a stratocaster during the concert segments at Rainbow Bridge.
