I missed the best part, just before I thought to switch to video he completely breached just in front of me rising straight up and somersaulting into a nose dive, (just like a Sea World move), he was so close that I then hit the wake his re-entry caused and it rocked my canoe.
This was shot on part of the Everglades Wilderness Waterway, it is a marvelous place, lots of cool sights that a camera can not capture.
