In 1998, the US arrested 5 Cuban citizens sent by the Castro government to unearth anti-Castro and anti-Cuba violence. The Cuban 5, as they came to be known, were convicted of espionage and conspiracy to commit murder, leading to prison sentences ranging from 15 years to 2 consecutive life sentences. A new documentary, Will the Real Terrorist Please Stand Up?, weighs the convictions of the Cuban 5, against the crimes of anti-Castro Cubans, and examines the historical context that motivated all parties.
On July 26, 2011, Uprising host Sonali Kolhatkar interviewed the film's director, Saul Landau, about the film.
They should be called the CUBAN AL-QUEDA 5. This would fix the media hype . .

The Cuban 5 are actually more like 20. They are better known as THE RED AVISPAS. They are all trained CUBAN INTELLIGENCE AGENTS, who infiltrated US MILITARY BASES. Not sure why any American would support such actions or people. In Cuba today thousands of Cuban Citizens sit in jail for just saying "ABAJO FIDEL".. Cuba sends us spies, that is a crime and we should not celebrate that. VIVA LAS DAMAS DE BLANCO. Cuban military generals today are setting up shop in Chavez's Venezuela.
