The question has been answered! There are no codes that need to be inputted to play Mega Drive games on a Genesis that is not modded. This one's for you, Mikeferr107!

  • herzog zwei came out for the japanese genesis on 12/15/89 according to gamefaqs.com, so it does not require codes to play on the US genesis, as shown in this video. however, if it came out in late 92 or later, it would require codes to play on the US genesis. this rule applies to all japanese genesis imports: )

  • @simkhovich Right, I just happened to have only that one game, other releases do need codes.

  • Cool since I picked up a Genesis Game Genie recently!

  • Now we both know! I wasn't sure if it would work or not, so I found out too!

  • I thank you for sharing your expertise, and even a video illustrating the answer to the technical question I had asked. I appreciate that you dedicated the video to me as well. You're a good man. Best wishes. -Mike :)

  • I love it when I get a request that I can fill :)

  • @nathanallan1 : )just thought u should have added the details on your own about the late92&later games or else someone might buy an import from late92 and later and won't be able to play and he or she will feel disappointed: ) also u could have mentioned that herzog zwei came out for the US genesis: )

  • My gosh, you left a statement like "cheap and loose" for me to rib you about?

That is too easy won't even take that shot.

So here is my technical question....

Now what is the K factor as referred to on a J pole antenna?

  • HeH! And isn't that part of the fun?
