Here's my first youtube video, a little review.

The bass line is from a song we play in my band.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer then as best I can.

Here's some links for you:

  • nice video ;) helped me to make the decision to buy the sans amp !

  • @yannikho Thanks. Glad I could help:)

  • I'll hope in future you'll play much more than talk.... I felt so tired during listening your speech that forgot about what this video were

  • @Rshlevas Well, as I'v said to several others here: If you want less talk and more playing, wouldn't it be an idea to watch a demo instead of a review? Think about it.

  • Are the pickups on your bass passive or active? I think I have the same one as you. An old Warwick made in Germany, that has passive pickups. I don't have an amp and record directly through a presonus firestudio project, and am looking for something like this to get better bass recordings. I've been able to get ok results using vst's like ampeg to emulate the sound of an actual amp, but the low end is severely lacking.

  • @DefenceSpeech They're active. The bass is a Corvette Standard. Body and Neck are Bubinga wood:) And ofcourse made in Germany.

VST's are ok, i've used them as well, but the best thing is a pedal or even an amp. Last time I recorded bass I used a mix of and sm57 mic on the cab and the DI signal from the Sansamp shown in this vid. Turned out great.

  • brother.... thanks for such an informative review!

i would like to know few things about 1/4th bass boost function...... will it enhance the bass volume or will it just give a null tone bass effect??

  • @Rshlevas I totally agree. A lot of guys love to hear them talking. Bla bla bla. Everybody can understand such a easy piece of equipement. But we want to hear eat. Just to decide to buying it or not!

  • @zeppelo dude this is a review retard duh ! not a demo

  • Less chatting & more playing!!!

  • is this one a lot better than the other model, the one with only one stamp switch thing? cheers vid was a lot of help:)

  • @Humamibrahem No Problem.

Yeah the sansamp is so great you'll never want to get rid of it. I haven't seen it sold second hand yet:)

    Thanks.

  • @jgsky Thank you:)

  • @Moochi96 No prob man:)

  • @theyammark Thanks!

  • @Moochi96 Well, I play mostly metal myself, but I've played a lot of other things with this pedal too and it works for almost anything. With the right settings it might as well be perfect for punk music. Most punk use a clean sound or maybe a little distorted, and this one does both very good:) Best thing ofcourse is to check it out for yourself at your local provider.

  • @BassIsAwesome16 Thanks man:)

  • Hey im interested in buying this pedal, is it good for punk music?

  • NIce demo bro and nice sound!

  • @theyammark I figured it out. Thanks! nice vid btw :)

  • @theyammark

thanx alot dude for the explanation ,,

well, i got my sansamp programmable di before three or four months ago and its GREAT , i liked it so much

thanx alot for the review ,, cheerss

  • @jgsky The three foot switches , or knobs, allow you to choose between three different presets. Either the three that are already put there from Tech21 or some you've made yourself. It's pretty much all explained in the manual:) Hope that helped.

  • @halfMAKOL Hm... when you mention it. Yeah I kinda look like him:)
