Classic Game Room HD - BERZERK for Vectrex review

Classic Game Room HD reviews BERZERK for Vectrex from 1982. This is a unique version of the amazing Berzerk arcade game because it is a vector graphics video game. Gameplay is very similar to the Atari 2600 cartridge except this has less variations in gameplay. While my controller is a bit buggy the controls themselves are good. All four buttons shoot. Shoot everything that moves except Evil Otto... run away from him. Vectrex video games are unique and lots of fun to collect. This version of Berzerk has a plain screen overlay but looks awesome. There used to be a time where the very early arcade machines used color stripes to give the impression of color in the game.The very early editions of Space invaders was a good example of this.

Around 5000 points, Vectrex Berzerk used to glitch up and you'd get some scrambled version of the game for about a screen or two. After the game calms down, you wind up with some ungodly amount of points, and the robots shoot so fast you get insta-gibbed by the robots' fire.
