MOLDOVER Controllerism workshop & live performance @ ROCKHAL

Moldover is an internationally known leader, innovator and educator in the world of live electronic music. He is the architect of the Controllerism movement, bringing digital DJing to the next level. Moldover explains, "it's just like turntablism, but instead of using turntables and a mixer to make music, I use software and a controller"
He is also the creator of NYC's Warper Party, now in its third year as the hub of live electronic music in New York City and springing up in other cities around the world. Moldovers interactive music installation, The Octamasher, has been featured at major festivals across the country, inspiring thousands of people with a hands-on controllerism experience.

Moldover will run an exclusive workshop on Controllerism followed by a free show at the Rockhalicious. The workshop will cover basic controllerism concepts, creative methods for working with electronics, practical gigging tips, performance techniques, instrument design and Moldover's personal approaches to making music. There will be plenty of time for Q&A as well as a taste of what is to come in the evening's performance.
