It bothered you? Good, because thats exactly what the film makers wanted you to feel. Because torture as a word quickly becomes watered down if its repeated enough times, but showing us what it really looks like, now that has an impact. I hope I speak for all (Hopefully) when I say that you must be one mentally sick sadistic psychopath to torture someone to death like that.
