This came with my first Windows based computer back in 1996. It let you make some really dodgy 'movies' out of pre-rendered backgrounds and ugly looking characters. You could even record your own voices and import MIDI files. Wow technology!

Of course it was awesome fun. Here's the terrible introduction movie. Well, part of it, anyway. For some reason I can't find the movie file where he's riding the shopping trolley on the disc. MYSTERY.

  • Yep! It has a director chair with a film reel coming out of it and a purple background. =)

Also cool to know that they dubbed him over for the UK release. Mine is Australian, but I guess they couldn't be arsed dubbing him here!

  • Rise and shine, Dr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the TOOLBOX SO WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED TO MAKE A SWEET COOL MOVIE

  • He sort of sounds Scottish here. He was REALLY Scottish in my version, though.

  • @GreyFoxNinjaFan

I agree. In my version his Scottish accent just made things more comical for me without him having to go full Professor Frink, Jerry Lewis.

  • The British version where he McZee was actually Scottish was much better..

  • its funny how this guy has a huge nose and he makes movies..

  • tap 3

  • MMMMM CHEEESECAKE!! this guy was such a geeeek lol :p

  • If I recall, there was a Japanese version of 3DMM as well with Japanese-looking versions of the actors, and an expansion pack that let you use the Doraemon characters and settings and voices in the 3DMM program.

  • I nostalgia'd hard

  • I suddenly want to try some cheesecake XD
