Jason Coker (220) bench pressed a new all-time record today at the APF Mendelson Classic at the Fit Expo in Los Angeles, California. Coker pressed 903 pounds to shatter the former mark of 870 pounds held by Shawn Frankl.

Coker also holds the second ranked bench press of all-time at 198 and the fifth highest at 181. His press makes him the lightest lifter to ever break the 900 pound barrier, by 40 pounds.

Coker took home $5,000 for winning the meet's lightweight division. That is a repeat of his win from 2009.

  • Soft handoff, elbows covered and no lockout - yeah strong no doubt but a bench press it is not.

This is why these records are a fucking joke!

  • The only lifts that matter are 100% raw.

    Bench shirts are retarded.

  • Jason is a class act I had no idea who he was or what he was able to lift and he came over and took time to talk to my 4 year old son to make sure he was having a good time ... CLASS ACT and shirt or no shirt who can even hold that up let alone move it up and down

  • midget

  • @TSMK900 You must be really stupid as you have just admitted it did not pass the fucking rules knumbnuts!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS? PMSL

  • @mgriff2 You must be really stupid right?

If this guy were to straighten his arms at such a high weight, his career would end fatally as in his elbows would break off coz he is lifting half a ton. Do you understand this?

  • is this lifting or wearing a stooge suit?

  • fat pig

  • This is sad. The guy looks like he fell out of a box of Lucky Charms wearing a 6-ply bench shirt made from the casing of a steel belted radial truck tire. Like Ted Arcidi once said about how ridiculous the bench shirt has become and how it's made a joke of powerlifting, "What's next -- using a forklift?"

  • LOL look at hes chicken legs

  • He can put up more than all you haters combined raw.

  • lol, this federation is a joke
