This is the final episode! We've played all the shows, we've seen all the cities, time to wrap it up. We're not going home yet; there's 2 more weeks for us to chill out, enjoy the weather and make new music. You'll hear about that later...
The west-coast! The first encounter with the Pacific ocean was a cold, but good, one. The coastline is so pretty here, it's astonishing. Palm trees, cliffs, flowers, sandy beaches and big burly waves.
The show in Fullerton, which is part of the city of LA, was on the campus of The University of California Fullerton. It appeared to be a lunch time show: during lunchbreaks they have bands play a set for students to accompany their hamburgers. Rage Against The Machine played the exact same 'stage' in 1992! Even messy cables are a blessing with Californian sunshine!

Ok, back to weekly buisiness as usual, C&K style. San Francisco. Totally different from every other city we've seen so far. Lot of bums, hippies, cool little shops, music and parties. Daniel got picked out of the crowd to participate in a street show. The guy had artifacts for every word he said. "Ok, he had the chain, but where's the dick?"
The gig at the Popscene was cool, The Mojito even cooler, and a super late notice renegade gig on sunday in club Mighty topped it off. "The word is out" -- everybody said by the time we left Frisco.
The highlight of last week though, was our visit to one of our greatest influences: DJ Q-Bert. His scratching made Kypski want to become a great scratcher, so you can imagine how nervous Kyp was to meet his maker!! Finally! We had seen his house in the scratchmovies he made, called Turntable TV. Crazy scratchers like Mix Master Mike, Shortkut, D-Styles and of course Q himself are doing insane scratch sessions on the 'Octagon': the 8-cornered table with a lot of turntables! Go check out Turntable TV, and his brilliant animation film Wavetwisters. That must be C-mon & Kypski's number one movie.
Here you can see Jori helping Qbert out with a track. He laid down some dope synthesizer takes for Qbert, oh yeah! Our Jori on a Qbert track! And, even better, Q's gonna be on our new record too!! What a super friendly, humble and inspiring dude.

Blowing off steam beachside, we finally pulled out the Numark turntable to listen to recently bought records. Searching for the right sample requires patience, a few of your best friends and a whole chicken. So long now.
