I agree I was so disappointed with the bumpits. I have fine hair and the ridges showed badly. I never trusted it not to fall out either. Quite a good tip with the bumpit if you love it is to use a bit of soapy water to set the bumpit. Then I bought a velcro bumpit, which I DON'T advise getting. The velcro wouldn't let go of my hair and tangled it badly. Just received my j clips so I'm hopeful.............

i have very fine hair and while the j-clips are easy to use, they do nothing for my hair.

Have had Jclips for about 2months and they are incredible. I find them easy to use and I get 3-4 days of volume from them. And yes you need to watch the videos.

beware- when you say anthing negative about jclips, they start e-mailing you disgruntled emails.

anyhow, i think these would work great if you had slightly coarse hair or very thick hair. i have smooth hair and the slide out before they get a chance to set my hair. i think the condept is great. they just don't stay in.
