***Note: this video isn't for the squeamish***
This is the Dr's view of my right eye (I'm upside down). This is part 1 of 3 but the other 2 parts are the sequence of laser tests between the procedures and then the left eye, which follows the same exact procedure as the right one. All-in-all it's a little over 18 minutes total.
The surgery is PRK (similar to LASIK or LASEK). It was performed by Dr. Scott M. MacRae, M.D. at Strong Vision, in Rochester, NY.
There was no sound on the DVD they gave me so I added NIN 2 Ghosts I and 32 Ghosts IV, since they fit the length and even seem to sync up pretty well. Ghosts is copyright NIN, no infringement intended.
I wrote up a fairly detailed description of the procedure and my experience at my blog: http://travis.servebeer.com/blog.net/archive/2008/03/30/prk_eye_surgery_follo...
@fanug it's been 2 years and I still don't regret it.

I didn't feel a thing for the procedure, my eyes were sore for a couple weeks after though. I posted a link above, in the description where I talked about the procedure and aftermath.
