I see what you mean. Alphorns are probably twice as long as this one. This is made from some kind of cactus,. I think it is anyway. Thanks for that link...

Its a very interesting and unusual instrument. It looks similar to the Alphorn, an instrument that is played here in the mountain areas of the Alps, especially in Switzerland, but the sound is completely different.

I've never heard this instrument in person. I'm sure it's not an easy instrument to learn to play. Looks like a beautiful day. :)
