A remade Socom 2 would still never be as good as the original. It was not the game itself that made it so glorious, it was the community around the game.

I'm sorry to say that this community no longer exists. Where in Socom 2 the voice chat channel was never silent unless you were the last one alive (or the first to die), I can play full-length sessions in any game on the ps3 without hearing a single word. Socom 2 died and it should stay dead, for the sake of the good memories we have.

Brings back memories. I joined xroads late, totally sucking. Got down to the last round, I was the last one left on my team against two enemies. I made a suicide charge and got the bomb planted. I threw a grenade and the last enemy shot me. He ran up to me and the dropped grenade blew and killed him.We won the match.

@drsocomkilla I hope so, however, it would have to have updated graphics. I used to love playing on crossroads.

I stayed up for MONTHS playing that game. I was never that good in respect to Kill/Death ratio, but it was just so fun to play. running around with my automatic shotgun!
