Where do you get this sand, is it simple glass with light under it?

To everyone saying he's not as original as "the ukrainian chick"....I remember seeing this video in early 2005 (this was posted Nov. 2005), the other young lady didn't gain a reputation until 2009. How do we not know she copied him, and not the other way around?
