We take a look at the Winchester 1897 Pump Shotgun. This shotgun was built in 1905 and is still able to shoot. These are very interesting and tactical shotguns and this one is 104 years old

If you like this shotgun, check out this video from Marcucco
it inspired us to make this one, but his is much better

I think it has a 99% more likely chance to have lived it's whole life in a closet or safe.

Do you go to a car museum and ask how many times someone got run over by each car?

  • @Lex5576 Thanks! I loved that picture!!

  • @Lex5576 Like I said in my earlier post I would spend a little more to get an original bayonet rather than a reproduction. The originals had to undergo rigorous proof testing that the repops don't also they fit perfectly whereas the replicas "might need some fitting". The British Pattern 1913 and the US Model 1917 are the same bayonet except for their markings . American scabbards fit the web belt whereas British use a frog.

  • @huguenot67 ..."The Professionals".....one of the greatest western classics of all time IMHO. Lee Marvin has always been one of my favorites in war pictures and westerns.

  • @shwesq ...I got myself a Norino trench gun last year and I'm impressed. The finish on mine is excellent and it cycles smoothly. The furniture isn't great, but overall its very good for the price and solid American walnut. Bought it for about $400. I'm still trying to find the M1917 bayonet just for looks. The gun ain't no Winchester, but I can't afford the original's $1500 - $2000 asking price. It's a neat feature that Norinco included the "flaming pisspot" U.S. mark on the side.

  • @killiotta1 Norinco in China makes reproductions of the 1897 Winchester which are marketed in this country by Interstate Arms. One version of the gun is the Model 97T Trench Gun. Interstate lists the price of their Trench Gun at $464.95 but most places usually sell them for less. Both R&R Arms and Buds Guns list the Trench Gun but are out of stock. If you get one get an original Model 1917 or Pattern 1913 Bayonet on E bay they are much better than the reproductions.

  • where did you get this?

  • What was that Lee Marvin movie???

  • pleez fire it. pleeeeeez

  • My dad has that gun its been passed down from my grandfather ... in very shitty condition though.

  • does this gun have a 28 inch barrel with full or modified choke? if so please please please please post a hunting video preferably waterfowl, upland is good to.
