1997 turbo vq35 5 s-speed swap nissan maxima walk around

This is my turbocharged 1997 nissan maxima gle with a vq35 from a 2002 maxima. It has a custom turbo kit made by me with a jim wlf tech ecu and vafc2 for tuning, I am currently running 0.7bar wastegate spring. This is just a quick walk around and I'll post more vids soon

i have a 1997 nissan maxima, my friend swears up and down that his 06 tiburon gt will destroy my car, he is ignorant enough to say a trailblazer would beat it, but anyway i have thought about swappin a vq35de into my maxima, my car is an automatic, would it be wise to keep an automatic or try to find a manual 2002 or 1997 maxima to race with, and if i keep the 97 what would i need to do in order for the swap to be successful?

Love your 4th gen man.... Any issues w/ stalling/running rich between shifts with the atmospeheric bov?
