hi youtube i know this video will get alot of flamers and it already has, but please dont flame this vid because i might not be as good as you in longboarding, but if you're really stoked, you wouldnt be making fun of a fellow boarder. thnxthis is my kracked skulls scimitar 42" with seismic speed vents and minilogo bearings and yellow randal bushings with randal 180s. and this is also my landyachtz evo with grizzly bear trucks and khiro reds top and bottom and abec 9 bullseye bearings and 97mm flywheels

The Scimitar is a really good all around board IMO. I've never ridden an Evo, but it looks sick for downhill. You can use the promo code "LBVA" on the Kracked Skulls website for a discount.

it's hard to compare evo with scimitar, scimitar is more like all around/free ride board... evo is a pure downhiller. Of course scimitar will lose on downhill, but can the evo carves and stuff as good as scimitar? I don't think so. It's all personal preference on what you want to do. Scimitar sure is a good beginner deck, but can definitely take it to a higher level. Btw i agree that it's hard to lift nose of the scimitar, tan tien would be something i would love, but the flex is scary.
