@1960cad These kegs are old soda kegs that have been professionally converted to Sanke kegs. The black covers cover the old pin style conectors that soda kegs have. hope this helps.
I have not made a video for putting back together. You do need the O-ring or the keg will not hold pressure. I have tried using the kegman kit and found it almost impossible to use. It seems as if the retaining clip is just a bit too thick. It is not very hard to use the spring clip that you previously removed. I find it easier to use the factory spring clip verses the kegman kit. Good Luck ~casey
Always remeber that anything sealed will build pressure due to atmospheric changes so never take a pressure vessel appart without first relieving the pressure.
Yea actually many commercial wineries are starting to use kegs. I use them for homebrew, but you could use them for any type of liquid, soda, beer, wine, juice, ect.
what are the 2 connections with the black covers on top of the keg?

did you make the video for putting it all back together, I am stuck trying to get the clip in (using the kegman kit). and do I need that o-ring?
