yes, which is exactly why they are the most popular metal band today. and its not just because the solos are hard to play that theyre popular, its cause they sound fucking awesome

@larryjerry1 Now I like older Metallica but this solo isn't that hard. The list for best solo of all time was pretty much just for who liked it the most. There are solos that are much harder to play.

@ZeroElementZero Kirk L. Hammett is fast but not really good, I agree with that, Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman are better guitarists by far.

Nerd.... go play the real guitar btw i dont get why they made the solo so hard in GH.. its one of the easiest solos on the guitar out there compared to others.... basically metallica is just commercial they arent that good at playing the guitar compared to alot of ppl but its my favorite band... they only play basics in solos... well good job anyways.
