Anti-Abortion Prolife Video: Development of the Unborn Baby. Anti-Abortion Prolife Video: Development of the Unborn Baby. Fetal Development; From conception to birth; Day 1: fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins. Day 6: embryo begins implantation in the uterus. Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child's own blood, often a different type than the mothers'. Week 3: By the end of third week the child's backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape. Week 4: By the end of week four the child is ten thousand times larger than the fertilized egg. Week 5: Eyes, legs, and hands begin to develop. Week 6: Brain waves are detectable; mouth and lips are present; fingernails are forming. Week 7: Eyelids, and toes form, nose distinct. The baby is kicking and swimming. Week 8: Every organ is in place, bones begin to replace cartilage, and fingerprints begin to form. By the 8th week the baby can begin to hear. Weeks 9 and 10: Teeth begin to form, fingernails develop. The baby can turn his head, and frown. The baby can hiccup. Weeks 10 and 11: The baby can "breathe" amniotic fluid and urinate. Week 11 the baby can grasp objects placed in its hand; all organ systems are functioning. The baby has a skeletal structure, nerves, and circulation. Week 12: The baby has all of the parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves, spinal cord, and thalamus. Vocal cords are complete. The baby can suck its thumb. Week 14: At this age, the heart pumps several quarts of blood through the body every day. Week 15: The baby has an adult's taste buds. Month 4: Bone Marrow is now beginning to form. The heart is pumping 25 quarts of blood a day. By the end of month 4 the baby will be 8-10 inches in length and will weigh up to half a pound. Week 17: The baby can have dream (REM) sleep. Week 19: Babies can routinely be saved at 21 to 22 weeks after fertilization, and sometimes they can be saved even younger. Week 20: The earliest stage at which Partial birth abortions are performed. At 20 weeks the baby recognizes its' mothers voice. Months 5 and 6: The baby practices breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid into its developing lungs. The baby will grasp at the umbilical cord when it feels it. Most mothers feel an increase in movement, kicking, and hiccups from the baby. Oil and sweat glands are now functioning. The baby is now twelve inches long or more, and weighs up to one and a half pounds. Months 7 through 9: Eyeteeth are present. The baby opens and closes his eyes. The baby is using four of the five senses (vision, hearing, taste, and touch.) He knows the difference between waking and sleeping, and can relate to the moods of the mother. The baby's skin begins to thicken, and a layer of fat is produced and stored beneath the skin. Antibodies are built up, and the baby's heart begins to pump 300 gallons of blood per day. Approximately one week before the birth the baby stops growing, and "drops" usually head down into the pelvic cavity. • @Amills11 I'm sorry, this wasn't directed at me but I have to jump in. I can accept the big bang, but I can't concede that something came from nothing. I can't accept that "magic." You have EVERY right to find the big bang theory silly and unintelligent. That's great, virtual fist bump! Just PLEASE... Please don't say the big bang is retarded and follow with "God created the universe for us humans 6,000 years ago. Adam, Eve, man lived with dinosaurs blah blah herp derp." lol

  • @hairdie96 Abortions will, undoubtedly, go wrong sometimes. Nobody's denied that. I DID, in fact, see numerous abortions "gone wrong," if you will. However, you're bat-shit if you believe it's a normal occurrence. 1.3 million abortions were performed in 2010. Of that, 66 are said to have "gone wrong," as in your story. Abortions that late, generally, aren't even legal. Annually, well over twice as many people are killed by falling coconuts than there are "abortion survivors."

  • @tdb418 scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees are our day.Keep abortion safe and legal!

  • So people are totally alright with people slaughtering and butchering feeling, thinking, breathing animals for food, but as soon as there's talk of removing an undeveloped mass of cells containing an undeveloped brain that has no consciousness, no knowledge of what it belongs to or where it is, and possesses no senses whatsoever, everyone's calling out "blasphemy" and "murder." I'm sorry, but that's retarded. Learn some actual science before you start preaching pro-life.

  • @tdb418 Did not Jesus say that you should cast out the beam in your own eye before offering to remove the speck for your neighbors eye? If RCC clergy are guilty of pedophilia, if the RCC hierarchy covered up these crimes in many countries throughout the 20th Century, if the RCC hierarchy sucks up to the rich and powerful (e.g. twice divorced, adulterer Newt Gingrich) and grants them communion in the Church, then what "moral authority" does the RCC possess? The RCC is the hypocritical

  • @Amills11 88% of abortions are done the 1st trimester; the majority of the population and I agree that the infinitesimal, 1st trimester fetus is not a human being. I'm not sick, I simply don't live in delusion. When a stranger dies, it sucks; you feel bad for a moment and move on. When a loved one dies, it's devastating beyond words and you never forget. You gonna tell me you feel JUST as bad when a stranger dies than a person you love? 150,000 people die a day, can't mourn em all

  • @shadowtygo Oh I forgot the "intelligent" people think everything just appeared. Everything created itself and life came from nothing.

  • I can't understand how murder is legal in the United States and people are happy about it. How sick is a society when they think the murder of there young is a choice. Its a selfish choice made by selfish people. It should be against the law and anyone who does it should be convicted of murder.

  • @TheLegendOfRandy What kind of logic is that? Just because I don't know that baby I shouldn't care. I don't understand how sick and twisted the mind of a pro-murder thinks. I don't know that kid so who cares if he gets molested. I don't know that guy so who cares if someone kills him.

  • There is NOT ONE EXCUSE which can justify taking an innocent childs life. Selfish women who take their childs life should have their uteruses ripped out. Nuff said.
