Ravens NFL football punt returner Tommy Zbikowski, and his strength and conditioning trainer Kevin Kasper, work on Reactive Starts. ""Reactive starts work on his reaction time, his laying down and goal is to get up again as quick as possiible. Football is all about reaction, when you are a safety and the ball comes, you have to get to that specific spot as quick as possible. He is not going until I say go. One, you have to be stretched, you already have to be warmed up you don't want to do reactive starts without warming up at all. The biggest thing about that is just getting uo and staying low and driving. You don't want to stand up right away, because then you lose your balance and don't get out as quick. You just want to stay low, and drive your legs. Its a great exercise for reaction, and overall speed and quickness.""
@holywrench lulz. he does seem pretty pleased with himself.

Hes a really cool guy... His practices are brutal though... He pushes you really hard... Sometimes too hard... I hated doing the speeding leopards though... Its one of Kevins most intense exercises... Dont forget the sled pushes... & the tire flipping... (He called my friend a "Bitch")... Which is true in a way... But anyways... Yea
