The "Daha Ata Sanniya" is a traditional dance ritual held in Sri Lanka to exorcise 18 types of diseases from the human body. Though an extremely colourful and vibrant pageant, most Sri Lankans do not get the chance of witnessing it, due to the performance's exorbitant costs and the long duration.

  • Approach Pt.Amaradeva, Iraj, many young and old artists will help.

  • Also too much focus on interior traditions at the expense of coastal traditions, as if SL is some land locked place, People who represent these areas are rarely in power, the few have to turn a blind eye to these to hold their posts.

Temples, schools and hotels are the key to survival and promotion, because the tourists will appreciate this. Collaboration with carnivals/festivals, singers, private TV networks can help bring this to the City audiance
