  • @nicolemor Sadly he has also passed away

  • It is not sick to film this experience what is sick is the misrepresentation of dying in movies and media death is not pretty nor easy for anyone but, this movie shows the sometimes brutally honest truth about what really takes place when we die, death is a certainty for everyone and I think that King did us all a service by making this film and giving us insight into a part of life that is often a mystery

  • this documentary gave me my " AHA" Moment amazing film

  • As a nurse I found this documentary was well done, I have learned so much about end of life care, the disclosures of the patients/families, I thought this documentary was moving- Of course it's not pretty- not meant to be- but it gives someone some kind of true insight of being with loved ones who are dying, and the process of death-unscripted, unaltered.

death is inevitable for every living thing, and just because this was explored in king's movie doesn't make him a sick bastard. what's so different from filming the death of someone from filming their birth? or capturing someone eating a bagel? or recording someone taking a shit? it's life.

  • I saw Dying at Grace on TV and it was absolutely fascinating.

  • There is nothing "feel good" about this extraordinary documentary, but it will never be forgotten.

  • I disagree. Allan king was an ethical man. These people all agreed with King that there is real value in sharing, exposing, teaching about, and understanding what the final moments of our lives hold for us. To call him sick for this is simply not fair, as I'm certain this was the most difficult venture of his life. We must respect King and the monumental gifts (films) he left the world.

  • A great loss to the world of film. A groundbreaking genius with a sincere heart was Allan King.
