I saw one of these Custom Shop '51 NOS Nocasters with a large "C" shap neck instead of the "U" shape neck shown here. I'm guessing a few were made with the "C" necks.

If I'm not mistaken the muted neck pickup setting isn't caused by the pickup itself but by tone knob and capacitors right?
If I'm wrong feel free to correct me.

Am I the only one who thinks that all the guitars on their videos always look so damned gorgeous with their lightning?

Looked like at the end you turned back the tone or volume and didn't flip the switch for the mellower neck bridge blend. Sounds basically the same though.

nocasters and broadcasters however had a lighter blonde color... not the butterscotch blonde color we see in the 52 teles.
