Very moving. I've been thinking a lot about what it means to be a vampire in movies and books like this, and in a lot of ways I think it's about an emotional condition. Being a vampire is like having a trauma or hurt for what seems like hundreds of years, that you cannot show in the sunlight, that traps you. There are adults who remain children forever, like Claudia.

I saw this movie last night on tv, when claudia dies it was so sad! and how Louis&Claudia were vampires but truely didnt want to be later in the movie... dam you lestat and making Claudia hate you, causing her to die from a crime D:<
