  • I finally figured out why I cannot stand Bill Champlin's singing....he sings like he has a mouthful of marbles. And what's with all of the "affectation"? Spare me, please!! Songs like this Bobby Lamm masterpiece that I have known and loved since I was a young girl are -- as he sings them -- completely incomprehensible and unrecognizable. How about, "everybody say NO!!" If you want to see the only way this song should be done, refer to "Dialogue: Aerie Crown Theatre"...

  • Guys, please! Just sing the damn song! Don't try to impress us with oh-how-soulful you can be. The lyrics and music speak for themselves. If you're going to pull a diva act, you better be able to sing like a diva. By trying to prove yourselves, you've disproven yourselves.

  • horrible

  • It's hard to listen to anything but the original version with Terry Kath singing for my liking but I love anything Chicago does and appreciate any effort they set forth!

  • BILL CHAMPLIN TOTALLY SUCKS!!

  • bill champlin totally rocks!

  • Horrible... absolutly no respect for the song!!!!!! Bill sucks and Jason helps along !

  • no not cause of Bill, he´s great!! but cause of this guitarguy....he always needs an extrapart in most of the songs!! Keith is the greatest and Terry too...

  • This has to be the worst version of Dialogue I have ever heard. What did Bill think he was doing. By adding all those grunts and groans and jumping all over the stage and adding all his "noise" takes away from the message of the song that Terry and Peter were singing about. And that was the point of the song, their message about the politics at the time in the USA. This was is just miserable to listen to so I won't.

  • Best version aside from the New Year's Rockin' Eve clip. Either you like Champlin or not but there's no denying the energy of the band, courtesy of Danny Seraphine's drums.
