You are most welcome, more to come. I am seeking the HALF-HOUR episodes of this show. I only have the hour-long episodes.

I thought this was going to be part of an episode, if not all of it. More please.

I had interviewed for a college position and was granted a student visa which was reviewed each year for the next 4 years. The requirements were strict and the non-British citizen tuition was much more than my fellow classmates were paying.

Interesting that you were able to do so, as even those from British Commonwealth countries such as Australia and Canada lost their right to live in the UK in 1962.

Also interesting is the title of the clip; many of us would think of Dennis Waterman rather than Judy Carne.

That's true, 'tom'. In the earlier seasons, Lucy always talked about ending production of "THE LUCY SHOW" at the end of that current season; somehow, she was always "convinced" to do at least "one more season"...especially for the fall of 1964, when CBS didn't buy ONE new Desilu series- and she KNEW she'd have to, or there wouldn't be ANY Desilu series in production, on all networks.

I think the real exchange was CBS buying this from Desilu, and in return Lucille Ball would do a new show.for them. Some claim that Lucy planned to do only one season of THE LUCY SHOW, simply to bolster the finances of Desilu Productions.

I would very much like to see the hour-long versions of FAIR EXCHANGE. This show inspired me to leave the USA and go to England and enroll in college in 1966...I was totally swept away by the idea I could do what a tv character did (altho I had no one to help and watch over me there!). When my Pan Am flight landed at Heathrow, I nearly expected everything to be in black & white :-D

Cy Howard, the ex-salesman who previously created and produced "MY FRIEND IRMA", "LIFE WITH LUIGI" and "THAT'S MY BOY"-and other forgotten series- devised this one for Desilu, which aired on CBS' Friday night schedule at 9:30pm(et) in the first half of the 1962-'63 season. This opening title is definitely from that version [John Stephenson, announcing], as Liggett & Myers {Chesterfield} had previously co-sponsored "THE TWILIGHT ZONE" on Fridays at 10pm the previous season.
