Maura Moynihan, daughter of the late Senator Patrick Moynihan, has been a longtime supporter and activist for the Tibet cause. Author and painter, Maura Moynihan has served as a consultant to organization Refugees International and also worked for Radio Free Asia from 1998-2000. She recently spoke at the Olympic Torch Journey of Harmony demonstration in New York City across from the Chinese Consulate organized to help stop the torch route through Lhasa, Tibet scheduled for June 18, 2008.
