  • @remaxbobbi youre a fuckin idiot nothing comes from jersey

  • whats the big deal where its from im from the east end of norristown near south philly and some of us italian guys and a few women just a few thank god use this slang , dont argue about it just be proud your italian and not a wannabe.

  • Yo this is the authentic south Philly accent.

  • yea this is a major fail! not even remotely close! I'm from both nyc & philly and can say with certainty this is more of a Brooklyn accent most definitely! this guy is making the same mistake Sly Stallone made in the Rocky movies!

  • @AWomanWithANewPlan Well, you guessed wrong, sweetie. Like remaxbobbi said, south philly essentially co-opted its accent. It's a poorman's New York/North Jersey hybrid. I'm not the only one around here that thinks so. I love it when these fakokta Philly goombahs crawl out the woodwork whenever their precious subculture is disparaged. Hey guys, it's SAUCE, not GRAVY. Gravy is what you pour over your mashed potatoes. Sauce you pour over pasta. At least New Yorkers get THAT difference.

  • @KUTVgroucho thas philly baby 100% the phras yo and cus started in philly

  • Im from north jersey and everything south philly says came from north jersey especially newark

  • KUTVgroucho : I m gonna guess u are NOT from Philly area or NYC???!!! And as the saying goes, "If I hafta explain, u wouldn't understand!!!" When I lived in Fla. I got asked, "Ur from New JOYSEY???!!! I said, "No, I'm from JERSEY!!! I got a PHILLEE accent not a New YOORK!!!" {Spelling "Yoork" & "Joysey" like new Yorkers pronounce it, & "Phillee" & "Jersey" like "we" say it...} Hope that helped u understand the difference in dialects???!!!

  • How did South Philly steal its dialect from Brooklyn?

  • very funny
