the blade needs refacing.

it is powered by a Cummins KT-1150
1150 cubic inch displacement.
they made many improvements to this machine when they upgraded the old 31
it was then called the FD-40.

What does it weigh?

When I was about 10, my friend and I saw a road roller parked up and the cab was open.
The keys were stuffed in the sun visor and being the little bastards that we were at the time, we took the cap off the diesel tank and dropped the keys in!!!.
Quite what the operator did upon turning up for work the next day I dont know?

as long as youre courteous to em they usually dont mind if youre lookin around at some of the equipment. i know i dont care when people are lookin at my machines, as long as theyre bein careful. it actually makes you take a little prde in it knowin that someone else thinks its cool enough to take time out of their day to look at it.

Nice machines!!!!
I love bulldozers, one of the machines i like most. I like big machines since i was 8.
A little info on the FD40.I have a Cat D9L comparison guide vs this Fiat Allis dozer. This is about 455hp and I think has a Cummins 1150 cid diesel. This replaced the earlier 31.Nice walkaround.Have seen a 31 near a Marion 7400 dragline but cannot recall if I have ever seen one of these.Think that the FD30 replaced the 300hp 21-C in 1980 time period.

You just go around and get right into the machines on different job sites. LOL I would be scared to do that, think I was gonna get caught.
