I stumbled across this piece of a music on a file-sharing site when I was exploring the music of Joe Hisaishi (composer best known for making the music for all of Hayao Miyazaki's animated films, such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, etc). The track I picked was mistaken for a track from the Howl's Moving Castle soundtrack (titled Himitsu no Doukutsu, aka The Secret Cave), which I've since realized was incorrectly listed to begin with.
This piece of music is so wonderful, so intriguing, mysterious, simplistic and beautiful, that I just have to know where it comes from. I would love to think my favorite film composer of all time actually DID compose this, but verification would be much appreciated.
Since the music so often, to me, conjures up imagery of isolated and far-away nature landscapes, I included a few pictures I've taken from recent hiking/camping trips. They were from Little Cottonwood Canyon and Soapstone Basin, both in Utah where I currently reside.
No copyright infringement of any kind is intended. I am simply trying to find where this music comes from. I am NOT using this music for profit.
