great vid, I've picked up a U-220 again recently. The most annoying thing is that to use the sounds from the PCM cards you have to first copy them into one of the 64 internal tones rather than just using them from the source [the JV-880 was the same too]. Even using sounddiver to edit this thing is a nightmare tho, but the results are worth the effort, just like the D-110, awful editing, worth the pain for the results. i.e. anything to get rid of the awful presets.

The Roland SN-U110-13 card has some regular tones and some tones that are meant to be layered and panned hard left and right, for pretty impressive stereo imaging. These tones sound a lot like the U-110/U-220/U-20's "String 1" patch, except with a bit more definition of the attack on the low notes, but the stereo patches sound great! Too bad that you have to take up two parts to get the stereo strings sounds.

Roland SN-U110-xy (Rhodes SN-U01-xyR) cards can be used with Rhodes Model 660, Rhodes Model 760, Roland CM-32P, Roland CM-64, Roland D-70, Roland MV-30, Roland U-20, Roland U-110, Roland U-220.

Quita a few sounds from the PCM cards were also selected for the Sound Canvas synths including the SC-88. My JV 1080 has a PCM card slot.

Thanks for uploading! For those who didn't know: The two cards SN-U110-08 (Synthesizer) and SN-U110-09 (Guitar and Keyboards) are already integrated in the U-20/220.
