  • I bought one new and the magazine release spring was so weak, it dropped right out under recoil. pissed me off so bad, i sold it back to the gun shop. It looked real nice though, just didn't work.

  • @munuequita Mine is not near that bad it has been shot alot. I did a detail clean and there is a bar that is showing alot of wear to it. but over all it is a good gun and I have it pretty reliable now.

  • I really like the finish on that gun. Looks great. I just sent out my Sig Sauer p229 slide to get refinished in brushed hard chrome.

  • @xxSURExxSHOTxx Thanx that is what sold me on this gun for my first one. Your project sounds pretty neat I don't think I have seen a Sig like that, can't wait for the video.

  • I have read that they had a recall on them for that problem I am looking more into that with Taurus now

  • I have a PT940 and i love it. its been reliable 100% with anything i feed it. i would love to have a PT911 to match it and they also made a compact version called a PT938C in .380 that looks exactly the same. mine is stainless.

  • Taurus has so much to choose from. Take this gun for example, they offer it with a single stack or double stack version of the PT92's grip which are the PT908 and PT909 and they offer it with a straight grip in double stack called the PT911, these guns can also be had in 5 different calibers, .380acp 9mm .40s&w .357sig and .45acp. The .380 .357 and .40 cal ones are straight grip double stack called a PT938, PT940 and PT957. The .45 is single stack with the PT92 grip and its called PT945.

  • Nice gun I have it too. Any avaible accessory for it? I cant find any in my country T_T.

  • I just bought one of these pistols, and it looks to me like someone has cut some coils off of the recoil spring. Was wondering if one of you owners would take the time to measure the length of your spring and let me know how long a factory spring should be. Thanks, OLPHART in Kansas

  • maybe i'm just lucky after reading some of the problems other people had with this gun. So far since i bought my pt-908 in 1998 until now, I haven't had a single problem of it failing to fire/load or jam and it gets better in time. i already fired more than 1500 rounds and its still working properly.

  • @bigsillygooseforu yes sir I have if you look at some of my other videos I have had trouble with an online company untill I finally broke down and paid full price to get an extra mag.

  • I bought it in 1993 new when it first came out and jammed all the time! Traded it for a new Glock 19. Good looking but could not depend my life on it.

  • Thanx for showing ,and lending your expert opinion.I guess your the only one who owns ones of these Taurus gun in the whole entire frickin world.I don't know what I would do without your video.Peel me a grape !

  • I've had mine for 13 years, never had any problems with it. A great little gun.
