I did this video with a lot of clay, a digital camera, jpgvideomaker, windows movie maker and a lot of patience. I used plastilina jovi (plasticine, modelling clay) to make the characters and the backgrounds.
The music I used belongs to Urban Trad
I hope you like it.

  • could u give me the name or the singer from that song ? :)

    thankyou very much

  • @damine1993 the song is Quimper Moscou from Urban Trad

  • Very impressive there Xia. U kno ur transitions between frames/movement is a lot smoother than before and having them do emotions is nice to watch.

The fight scene was probably the worst one, but again thats really difficult to do so u still did a nice job.

  • Thank you very much. It's very pleasant to be said that one's improved since this took forever and it was a lot of work for only 46 seconds of animation.

I agree with you. The fight scene is quite awkward. It will be a good thing for me to watch some anime battle scenes to get an idea of proper fight movements.

  • btw Xia, I hope u can get on MSN/skype more cuz I miss talking to u. I'm gonna be visiting Ireland after work b4 returning to the states.

  • I too hope so. I'm still on holidays so you'll have more chances of finding me on-line. Have fun in Ireland ^^

  • This claymation does show that lots of work went into it. As animators, we have a super appreciation for the tedious but always rewarding Art of Animation. We enjoy the Anime look combined with mythical themes your claymation has. Keep Animating!

Art is perfected with experience, passion and hard work.

  • felicidades

  • m_) Good characters, they show personality with their different accesories and hair styles.

m_) Plus your variation with scenes went really well, sometimes is hard to not be so repetitive, especially when you have music soundtrack taking place.

m_) Keep working hard, you are doing a fantastic job.

  • Really liked the characters and sets!

    Keep up the great work!!!!
